LOCATION: NEW YORK, NY
This project tackles the issue of renovation in the lower Manhattan area. Following the attacks of 9/11 the area has been deemed for redevelopment along with an expansion of residential zoning. This project stays true to the essence of NYC high rise but begins to fracture its perspective with formal distortions to the frame. This project intensely examines the use of the diagrid as structural system.
